Exercise Need Not Be Boring

Do you need a change of pace? Is it sunny and beautiful outside and you just can’t bear staying inside? Consider an alternative way to get your exercise. Running and walking are certainly two choices…. but what about branching out? Hit the local trails and go hiking. You don’t have to live near mountains… there are lots of state parks with trails to explore. My husband and I like to pack a lunch and make a day of it. It feels great to breathe the fresh air, spend time together, and break up our exercise routine. ┬áThere are many other choices to consider based on where you live. We also love to snow ski in the winter, and water ski or swim in the summer. We also take our two Labs for a walk, after all, they need exercise too.

Yes exercise can be fun, not boring. If you feel that you need a change of pace, be creative and head outside.
