How to Reach Your Goals

22 June 2011 One Comment

We have all set goals over our lifetime, but how many of us have actually realized them? Whether it’s to complete an education, be successful in your current job, find another job that might be more rewarding, become healthier or succeed in your relationship…. part of turning a goal into reality takes planning. Taking some kind of action and being involved in the plan is perimont!

If you’re the type that thinks that you can hold everything in your head (I will admit to being this type), you may also find that it can be mentally exhausting. I have found that writing down things that I need to complete (or buy at the grocery store) takes things out of my head. It releases the pressure to remember and keeps me calm. This can also work on a larger scale. Once you have set a goal, you need to write it down.  This easy step can be very powerful and increase your chances of accomplishing your dream. Now obviously there are no guarentees, but those who write down there goals are TEN TIMES more likely to achieve them. I don’t know about you… but I love those odds!

By writing down your goals they become foremost in your mind. Bringing them to the front of your attention… particularly if you put them somewhere that you will be able to see them everyday… or better yet… put them in several places! This will make them appear more reachable, which will in turn cause you to place importance and value on the goal… making it a true possibility and allowing you to work harder to achieve it.

Once you have written down your goal… try to do something every day that will bring you closer to success. For me, I have started on a new adventure. My path is enabling me to be able to help people reach their health and fitness goals. It has been very rewarding for me. Not only have I been able to realize one goal of getting in better shape, feeling young, healthy and more fit… but by becoming a Beachbody Coach, I have been able to help people with similar goals. This has also allowed me to start building a business that I hope one day will give me and my family financial independence. Amazing that I can do something that I love AND make money at it… it still seems very surreal. My current goal is to continue on this path so long as there are people to help. I also want to share this opportunity with as many people that I can. I am so excited about everything that Beachbody has to offer… and what it can do for others.

I would love to help you to reach your health and fitness goals. I can help you lose weight, get fit and lean, lower your blood pressure and cholesterol, gain energy, feel younger and get back to enjoying your life. Personally I feel younger, have more energy, have less pain, less stress, have lost over 11 inches, 15 pounds and have muscle that I forgot I had! Make me your coach… I promise we’ll be in this together and you won’t be disappointed!

Yes, I want to make Karen Crawford my coach!

It’s not always a straight course, but goals always make your destination the accurate one!
