Benefits of Being Fit and Healthy

Day 0

Day 90, P90X

It goes without saying that exercise and healthy eating makes you feel better. Most people (if they stick to meeting their goals) notice that they have more energy, are less tired (and sleep better) and are therefore able to better tackle life’s daily challenges. When I first started my journey to better health I was tired, felt old, and was not happy inside or out with my appearance or attitude. I hear almost daily (from patients, family and friends – older and younger than me) that their aches, pains, lack of energy and other health ailments are secondary to the normal aging process. Well… I refuse to buy into that. I am proof positive (and can give you many, MANY success stories) that you can make a difference in your life by the path that you choose. It is never too late to start! There is not one excuse that you can give me that should prevent you from becoming a healthier, happier and more motivated person. I have back problems, arthritis, pre-diabetes and have a family history of early heart disease. I have seen the success of those with MS, hypertention, high cholesterol, diabetes, amputees plus many more, that have made the decision to be healthy. Only YOU can make the choice and commit to changing your life. Do it for yourself!

Need more reasons to start a fitness journey? Lets break it down:

Energy – who doesn’t want more! Once I started P90X and began eating only healthy foods, my energy level increased. Then, when I added Shakeology, it soared! Being cardiovascularly fit and fueling your body with the best nutrition is what your body craves. Your body NEEDS to be taken care of and will happily reward you with the luxury of sleeping better, thinking more clearly and putting the bounce back in your step and the smile back on your face.

Confidence - One of the things that people noticed about me (and that I notice about others) in the before and after pictures is how much taller we stand, shoulders back, smiling! Nothing like looking and feeling great to give you the outward glow! A secondary boost? Shopping and trying on a smaller pair of pants or feeling good in a bathing suit.

Health - the obvious one, and one we’ve touched on before. If you are diabetic, have high blood pressure, high cholesterol, fibromyalgia, metabolic syndrome, etc….. you can get off or reduce some of your medications! I know it, I’ve experienced it and seen it in others! The cost of eating healthy, giving up tobacco, drinking shakeology, and working out an hour or so a day will be paid back with the absent co-pays for medications and doctor visits alone.

Financial - Believe it or not… you can make a career out of being in the best shape of your life. When people started asking me how I had been so successful in my weight loss ,I realized that I was a walking billboard. I joined the Beachbody Team and became a fitness coach so that I could share the “secret” of getting in shape and being healthy! There’s no mystery really… but having a great team to keep me accountable and motivated does make a big difference.

I challenge you to make your life better. Give it 90 days! That’s a VERY short period of time and one that could make such a huge difference in your life… just as it has in mine!  I highly recommend that you try one of the many beachbody programs! There is one that fits everyone’s fitness level… and add the Shakeology from the start… it helped me to lose weight and increase my energy!

So if you’re on the fence, looking for a way to take your life back… give me a shout! I will coach you and motivate you for FREE! Want more information? Contact me at Lifechangingfitnessplan@gmail.com
