“Don’t get your hopes up – this isn’t the recovery you’re expecting. But it should help your body and muscles prepare for more INSANITY.” It last about 35 minutes.

This workout combines yoga, strength training and core work to get you ready for the rest of the program. It’s a nice break, but certainly will still get you sweating. The stretching is a welcome benefit to help those sore muscles!

I think it’s also a great marker to test your strength and flexibility. I’m presently in week 3 of Insanity and have found that with each week I have noticed an improvement in both. This workout is slower paced and allows you time to think about your form and concentrate on the individual moves. This week I noticed that I was able to hold the yoga positions longer and with more flexibility. I was also able to stay with the strength moves longer.

This workout is a must! Do not skip it! Use your recovery day for your day off!

    When I first did Cardio Recovery i thought I had put the wrong disk in. I couldn’t believe that was a recovery workout.
