Just as you’re getting used to the Circuit/interval training, the plyo, the resistance… the “little” breaks that you get in between the “long” intense workouts… Shaun T throws in Pure Cardio! It’s a very intense, nonstop aerobic workout that will take you to places that you have never been! Once again the workout lasts around 40 minutes (and you can obviously take breaks if you need to… you can also modify moves and reduce the plyometrics until you get more fit).

With Shaun’s motivation you will take yourself to new levels of fitness and burn calories like never before!

The thing I’m loving about Insanity is the variety and the all over workout (without equipment). You use your own body weight for training, and plyometric moves to really power up the heart rate. The time flies by and while it is totally kicking my butt… I can really tell what a difference it’s making in my body, my level of fitness, and my energy level!

Then… just when you think you’re done… here comes Cardio Abs!

I for one hate doing crunches! This workout gives you an amazing ab workout without doing even one crunch! You really won’t even realize you’re working your abs! It’s also intense and is a high-intensity workout that works the abs and your core. It’s 20 minutes, but truly doesn’t feel like it’s that long.

All in all… I’m loving this workout. The really great thing is that it comes with a money back guarantee! I say this because many folks think that they will not be able to do this program. It’s intense… but definitely doable! I’ve heard many people who say they are intimidated by it. I’m almost 51 years old and I AM challenged by this workout, but I refuse to let it beat me!

I did have to do some adjustments. I definitely felt winded and really did sweat more than I normally do…. but what I found was that I was not sore at all! Hmmmm, puzzling. So… more adjustments… I focused on form, did not let my ego get in the way (and therefore gave up trying to keep up with the number of reps that the folks were doing on the DVD), and TaDa! In week 3 I am now feeling the soreness and the increase in muscle gain! YAYYYY!!!

So… I am 3 weeks into Insanity and still love it! I can see why people get such great results! Remember you have to push play every day and follow the nutrition guide (which, by the way, is very easy to follow!) The meals are easy and delicious… and they give you a substitution guide.
